The four steps
Set up your organisation
Add your sites and their addresses, draw a geofence radius for each one, and lay out patrol routes with QR checkpoints along the way. Invite your guards with a single join code — no per-guard onboarding calls needed. Setup is mostly adding sites and inviting guards.
Schedule your roster
Create shifts one at a time or set up a weekly recurring pattern for sites that run the same coverage every week. Assign a specific guard, or leave a shift open and let auto-roster suggest the best-fit candidate based on availability, distance, and site requirements. The guard gets a push notification and has to actively confirm or decline — no silent assumption they saw it, and if they decline, the shift reopens and you're notified straight away.
Guards use the mobile app
Guards clock in with one tap — BeVigil checks their GPS against the site's geofence automatically, so you know every clock-in is genuine. On patrol, they scan QR checkpoints in order, which logs proof-of-presence to the second. If something goes wrong, a duress button sends a silent alert to managers and nearby guards instantly, no phone call required.
You see everything
Your dashboard shows a live map of every guard's position, real-time safety alerts, attendance logs down to the geofence status of each clock-in, and incident reports as they're filed. At the end of the pay period, export payroll and compliance reports as CSV in a couple of clicks.
